I can't believe how much he reminds me of her as he fails to hide that impish smile.

She was always so happy and he's the same.

My chest swells as the world watches on.

They say, "Gordon Tracy, representing the United States of America," as he steps onto the podium.

Mother nudges me, mortified. He hasn't combed his hair!

Lucy, that's our son up there.

He's fifteen and he's just become an Olympic gold medallist.

I'm his father and I'm proud.

I only wish you were here to see this, baby.

I know you'd be proud of him, too.
